Portable Appliance Testing
Portable Appliance Testing (also known as PAT Testing) in the United Kingdom, is a process by which any electrical appliances are routinely safety checked looking for signs of damage and faults to prevent accidents and injuries. By using the simple system of an annual PAT test most electrical risks can be controlled.
When people work with electrical appliances, health and safety regulations state that the appliance must be safe, to prevent harm to the workers. Many types of equipment require testing at regular intervals to ensure continual safety; the interval between tests depending on both the type of appliance and the environment it is used in.
PRO P.A.T. UK specialise in the testing and inspection of all types of electrical appliances. All testing is carried out in accordance with current regulations and to the highest standard.
