Portable Appliance Testing Services
PRO P.A.T UK can undertake all the portable appliance testing you need to meet the latest legal requirements. All items tested will be appropriately labelled and a Test Pass Certificate, (or Fail), will be issued. Retests following equipment reparation will be free if successfully undertaken on site, or if brought to our Bexhill on Sea workshop, within 7 days of a Fail notice.
During our PAT testing we can/will:-
- Assign a unique identification number for every appliance
- Produce an easy to comprehend results register detailing all tests which were carried out by our engineers.
- Carry out basic repairs on any faults found to maintain your security and of those around you
Every electrical appliance is subjected to rigorous testing which is compliant with The Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) Code of Practice for In Service and Testing of Electrical Equipment.
Depending on what the appliance is and its use, the testing which PRO PAT engineers undertake will include:
- Visual
- Voltage (assessment)
- Polarity
- Insulation
- Continuity (Earth)
- Leak
- Touch Leak
- Sub Leak
- Load
- Microwave oven leakage and safety testing - POA
SERVER & IT EQUIPMENT.
Special IT testing with no damage to equipment along with minimum disruption within an active commercial/office working environment.
PRO PAT engineers are fully qualified to C&G2377, fully checked with the Criminal Records Bureau (C.R.B.) and carry FULL Public Liability Insurance.
